"Vuela, Vuela" game
This is a game that I tried in one of my classes. I think it works great for toddlers.
Grab your child and pretend he/she is a bird. Go up and down like a bird and say:

"Vuela, vuela, vuela
y toca la puerta"

Translation: "Fly, fly, fly
and touch the door"

After you put your child down, she/he and you go to a door and touch it. Do it 2-3 times, you and your child.
Then, let your child do it. If he/she seems a little disoriented, just point to the door.

Slowly you can add another word like chair (silla), floor (piso), wall (pared). It is a great game to teach new words without a vocabulary list.
